My garage door stopped mid-way in cold weather. A technician replaced the opener and two springs, that resolved the issue, but left behind another issue (one side of the garage door bottom doesn't touch the ground). The technician advised me to fix the concrete floor (put a weatherproof strip there, etc.).
I called CG Garage Door Services (https://cggaragedoorservices.com/) for second opinion. Carlos Sr and Jr (father and son) came, spent a few minutes adjusting the cable, that resolved the issue. I gave them more work - all well-done. They are quick, handy, really good at what they are doing, communicate well. I don't hesitate to refer them to my neighbors and friends. If I need help with my garage door in the future, I am sure their names will come to the top of my head.
Thank you for your good work, Carlos Sr and Jr!

Re: Garage Door Services near Ashburn, VA
I would like to share my experience working with SClass Garage Door & Gate Service (https://sclassgaragengates.com/) recently.
On Dec 5, 2024, I did a Google search for a garage door repair contractor in northern VA. SClass Garage Door & Gate Service popped up with a good rating.
I called their phone number (888) 755-1251 and was told they are a family-owned business serving my area. Then they sent a technician over to estimate. The technician (OJN Home Services LLC) came and gave a proposal to do the work on the same day. After the work was "done", one side of the garage door bottom doesn't touch the ground (there is a gap of about 1/4 inch) when the door is closed. The technician argued that the ground is not level, and asked me to add a weatherproof strip there to fill the gap myself.
However, when I push the garage door down a little bit using my hand, the door does move and the bottom does touch the ground completely, as it did in the past before the repair.
An earlier photo shows clearly the garage door did close completely (before the repair by OJN Home Services LLC).
The receipt says there is 1-year warranty. I reached out to the technician through text, no response.
I am surprised with the work ethics, attitude, and experience of the technician (OJN Home Services LLC) sent by SClass Garage Door & Gate Service.
I called the phone number on their website a few times, and was told their manager will call me back in 5-15 minutes to discuss the matter. Not a single call came back. I also email them at info@sclassgaragengates.com (on their website), no response either.
What I found out is that SClass Garage Door & Gate Service is NOT a local business at all. The phone number (area code: 888 or 877) on their website (https://sclassgaragengates.com/) keeps changing. They just take phone calls, pass the customers' contact info to their local partners, and scam the customers.
